Loxahatchee River Series III
This Original Acrylic Painting is of the area of the river where the legendary figure Trapper Nelson lived and trapped in the mid 1900’s. It is the opposite view of Loxahatchee River Series I. To the left is the original dock that Trapper Nelson built along with a dock in the foreground rebuilt by Jonathan Dickenson Park for the boat that gives tours of his camp site, log cabins, and zoo. The painting was done from a series of studies and photographs taken by the artist from the area which is only accessible by boat.
